on the way back, we passed by the (pacific) ocean. i saw some surf shops. i will have to come back and try out the surf in taiwan, during typhoon season, which really is the only time that there's surf.

a daytrip to jinshan
my grandparents took me on another day trip, this time to jinshan. it's also another old mining community. so it took us 2 hours to get there, and once there, we walked for 1/2 hour, had lunch, and headed home. my grandfather decided that he didnt want to walk anymore... :(
on the way back, we passed by the (pacific) ocean. i saw some surf shops. i will have to come back and try out the surf in taiwan, during typhoon season, which really is the only time that there's surf.
